Al-Taqwa Islamic Center (ATIC) Mission

We are pleased to announce to our community the establishment of an Islamic Center in the City of Inkster, which will serve as a center for any Muslim regardless of the methodology he or she follows.

All Muslims are welcome to this center, where we can be brothers and sisters in the cause of Allah, following His commands—commands on which we can all unite and not divide. We extend our hand to every citizen of this country, regardless of the religion they follow or the background from which they come. We take pride in our religion, but at the same time we respect all other religions and beliefs.

We are all human beings. Moreover, we are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We have all descended from Adam, who was created from clay. We have named the center Al-Taqwa Islamic Center to remind us that we should all fear Allah and remain conscious that He is always watching us. We strive to do good and refrain from evil, as He has commanded us. Let us all walk together on His straight path so that we may attain peace and tranquility.

Saturday & Sunday School

Al-Taqwa Islamic Center offers weekend Islamic school every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our classes include Arabic language, Qur’an recitation and memorization, Islamic studies, and practical training in prayer (salah) and its rules.

As a Muslim community, we are proud to provide consistent Islamic education for children throughout the year (with the exception of Ramadan, during which there are no weekend classes).

Al-Taqwa Islamic Center provides several services and support to the local Muslim community, including preparing Islamic marriage contracts, family counseling, and religious education.

Marriage Services

Our masjid officiates and prepares Islamic marriage contracts (Nikah) in accordance with the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Family Counseling

Confidential family counseling and guidance are available for those facing challenges or seeking advice on family and marital matters.

Islamic Studies

We offer weekend Islamic classes for children covering Arabic language basics, Qur’an recitation, and Islamic education.
